AS YOU CAN PLAINLY SEE . . . Ms. Bamwenda and her staff have been busy making a difference where they live. I believe I have been prompted by the Lord to do everything I can to help this organization -- from this day forward.
Jesus taught us that, "Inasmuch as you have done it unto these, the least of my brothers, you have done it unto me." These mentally challenged friends are not "the least" in terms of their worth to God. One glance at Golgotha's Cross should tell us that. But in terms of their need? In term of their illness? Well, that's another story.
Can you help? Can you financially and prayerfully help DAR ES SALAAM VOLUNTARY ASSOCIATION do God's work? Please give this your serious and prayerful consideration. These compassionate brothers and sisters, these servants of Jesus Christ are doing a magnificent thing, and they need our help. If you can help, you will be a part of it! May God speak to your heart to respond.
If you would like to assist in the support of Ms. Bamwenda and the DAR ES SALAAM VOLUNTARY ASSOCIATION, you are invited to make a contribution. A system is set up so that you may donate through PayPal. The funds will come to me. I will, in turn, forward them to Ms. Bamwenda and the Voluntary Association. As you can see, this places me in a temporary position of fiduciary trust for which I must be responsible to both the contributor and the recipient of funds. Obviously, I do not expect nor will I accept any accommodation for this service.
The Christian Counselors Directory is in the process of creating a non-profit, charitable organization, (501) 3c, to which donors may address their funds. That entity has not, at this writing, been set up. When it is, you can be sure that it will be prominent.
One final word. The DAR ES SALAAM VOLUNTARY ASSOCIATION is a small, but effective, ministry in this city of Tanzania. However, should many donors arise from this exposure, the organization will grow resulting in ministry to hundreds and possibly thousands of mentally ill in that country. I want to be a part of that. I hope you will, too.
Cordially,
Paul D. Morris, Ph.D.
